This blog is an attempt to expose the propaganda masquerading as political correctness which is epidemic in the news media. A news media which is following the model established by fascist, communist, and dictatorial regimes. Plus a few fun videos mixed in with some product reviews.
Also, exposing the hypocrisy of cult groups such as She Shepherd and their type .
Northern Iraq, the Kurdish region as been somewhat
semi-autonomous since the fall of Saddam Hussein. The Kurds in this region have historically
been allied to U.S. forces and relatively free of the violence plaguing the
rest of Iraq.
The Kurdish region enjoys an abundant supply of oil and has
been pumping it.They have a pipe line
from their region going into neighboring Turkey. The Turks have been getting the majority of
the petroleum from Russia and Iran.
In an effort to diversify their sources of oil, purchasing
oil from the Kurds assists in this effort. However Baghdad and Washington have issued complaint stating it should be
Baghdad selling the oil.The Kurds and
Turks replied they will pay the thieves Baghdad their legal share of the
revenues.
Recently Japan received the 10 millionth tourists to the
land of the Rising Sun, Nihon, Japan. The goal to reach 10 million visitors in one year was set in 2003 by Japan
Travel Agency (JTA) and Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).
The nations is appreciative to all those who contributed to
attaining that goal.One group deserving
thanks for their contribution to reaching this goal are the Cove Coward
Guardians (Cove Guardians) of Sea Shepherd.
The focus of the Cowards attention has been the Japanese
town of Taiji.Taiji is located in
Wakayama Prefecture and noted in the movie “The Cove.”The movie resulted in Sea Shepherd
establishing a sub-group the Cove Guardians (Cove Cowards).
These Cove Guardians stated mission is to document for the
world to see the dolphin capture activity that takes place in Taiji. The foreigners who constitute the membership
of the Cove Guardians in the past have engaged in harassing the locals in Taiji
and surroundings.Some have engaged in
religious shrine / monuments disrespect.
At times the number of Cove Guardians can reach anywhere
from twenty to thirty foreigners standing at the water’s edge with their arms
crossed in self-righteous indignation. While many of their supporters are urging a
boycott of Japan and Japanese products, these Cove Guardians are spending
plenty of money in Taiji and surrounding communities with their Japanese
cameras and computers.
The money spent by the Cove Guardians in the area
contributes to the local economy and are welcomed by the locals as they
represent the dolphin tourism industry.All
that the Cove Guardians have accomplished is watching the dolphins while
enriching the locals.They have done
absolutely nothing to decrease the number of dolphins captured. However they have contributed to raising the
number of tourist in Japan.
There is a raging war in the South Sudan / Southern
Sudan. To help defend the peace the
United Nations (UN) sent in peace keeping troops from member nations. The United States along with two trusted ally
nations also sent troops:Japan and
South Korea. Can you guess which one of
the two USA allied nations where one behaved responsibly and the other behaving
like a raving lunatic?
The South Korean government sent their troops to the war
torn Southern Sudan with ammunition (bullets) that can be carried by each
member, and not more than that. While
the USA and Japan sent with their forces an abundant supply of bullets
(ammunition).
The commander of the South Korean ill-equipped troops made a
request to the United Nations for additional bullets (ammunition). The UN in return passed the request to the
USA and Japan, since both nations use the same caliber bullets as the South
Korean military.
In reply to the UN request the Japanese gave the South
Korean troops 10,000 bullets.By the
reaction of many in South Korea, South Korean politicians, and their news media
you would have thought the Japanese gave the bullets to them one at a time
fired from a weapon.
The people who got upset in South Korea are absolute
morons.They were insulted because the
bullets came from Japan.Never mind
their government was negligent in equipping their military for the field. Those critical of the Japanese assistance
injected hallucinated sinister motives to Japan’s benevolence.
Recently Dear Leader from North Korea, the Hermit Kingdom
sent South Korea a fax threatening to attack South Korea. That fax did not draw the hate as did the
help from the Japanese government.Those
in South Korea angry by Japan’s help seem to be unable to comprehend the threat
comes from the North not from across the Sea of Japan.
A good illustration is as if a drowning person was tossed a
life-saver, then that person cursing the one who assisted with the
life-saver.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan visited the Yasukuni
Shrine in Tokyo, Japan, resulting in the governments of South Korea and China
complaining.These two governments hallucinate
they have the authority to restrict freedom of movement by the Japanese in
Japan.
The bellyaching by the South Korean and Chinese government
made world-wide news.The American news
media in keeping with their bias reporting joined the fray. The Dallas Morning News reprinted an article
from The Washington Compost (The Washington Post), and titled it:
“Japan’s rivals rip visit to war shrine”
One mistake:That
Yasukuni Shrine is not a “war shrine” it is a shrine “Dedicated to those who
lost their lives while serving Japan.”The Dallas Morning News inserted the “war shrine” purposely to defame
the shrine. The title to the article leads
one to believe the shrine honors war, when it fact it does not.
From the Yasukuni Shrine website:
“Yasukuni Shrine was established to commemorate and honor
the achievement of those who dedicated their precious lives for their country.
The name ‘Yasukuni,’ given by the Emperor Meiji represents wishes for
preserving peace of the nation.”
Although The Dallas Morning News is one newspaper in the
United States, it is a glowing example of the bias news media in the USA.Their role is not to report the news but to
shape the news and mold public opinion.
