President Moon exposes himself to
President Trump
After having an enjoyable state visit to Japan, President
Trump and his wife Melania went to Seoul, South Korea. While in South Korea their President Moon
Jae-in and his wife Kim Jung-sook held a banquet for Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Trump.
Invited to this banquet was a former Comfort Women Lee
Yong-Soo, who was introduced to President Trump. This was a clear act to vilify Japan to
Trump. The inference being, hey
President Trump here is this fail elderly lady who was forced into sexual
slavery by the Japanese, a pure form of Japan bashing.
Many in Japan interpret this as an insult and are upset by
this. This in reality was a good
thing.
Now remember when Mr. and Mrs. Trump were in Japan they
enjoyed the hospitality of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his wife Akie
Abe. No bashing, no vilifying, just
enjoy each other’s company and discussing the true adversary, Kim Jung-un Dear
Leader of North Korea.
When Trump was introduced to Moon’s Japan bashing gesture,
he had to immediately compare this with the classy way he was treated in
Tokyo. Trump most likely realized the
same when President Obama made the same trip and met with previous South Korean
President Park Geun-hye. She too was
obsessed in bashing Japan over the Comfort Women issue. Obama soon realized he too was dealing with
an obsessed person while Abe was the reasonable one.
President Moon illustrated that of the two leaders from
Seoul and Tokyo, Prime Minister Abe was clearly the reasonable and classy one.
So to President Moon Jae-in: Thank you for illustrating to
President Trump that you are placing South Korea as the weakest link in the
Japan – South Korea - USA alliance. Your Japan bashing, Comfort Women issue
exposed to Trump the true Moon Jea-in, and that was not a good thing.
