The United States of America is celebrating it’s 250 anniversary. United States Semiquincentennial. The nation’s birth July 4th, 1776. 250 years later, here we are. From 1776 to date, civilization has advanced more than from the time of creation to 1776.
It was mixture of capitalism and individual freedom that caused the leap in civilization in that short 250 years.
The United States since its independence has given the world may inventions and ideas. Here are just a few: B-2 bomber, footsteps on the moon, Internet, cell phone, Ranch dressing, Mickey Mouse, airplane, telephone, light bulb, personal computer, assembly line, credit card, microwave oven, GPS, and ATM.
