ObamaCare exempts the ruling
class
Affordable Care Act popularly
referred to as ObamaCare will be exempting the ruling class from its onerous
mandates. The law written by Congress
and their staffers require the aforementioned to participate in the insurance
exchanges. Meaning they would be
required to pay thousands of dollars a year in out-of-pocket insurance costs.
President Obama has granted
Congress and staffers extra payments to
cover about 75% of the cost of the average insurance plan. The ruling class is basically exempting
themselves from a law they are forcing upon the rest of us peasants. When the United States Constitution was
written in 1787 the Founders guaranteed the States the rulers would be subject
to the same laws as the people.
Three of the Founders wrote a
series of essays explaining the Constitution to the States seeking
ratification. One of the authors of the
Constitution and the essays known as the Federalist Papers or Federalist Essays
was James Madison later to become the nations fourth president. He wrote Federalist Paper 57 addressing this
issue of the rulers exempting themselves from the peasants.
Federalist Essay number 57
written by James Madison:
“I will add, as a fifth
circumstance in the situation of the House of Representatives, restraining them
from oppressive measures, that they can make no law which will not have its
full operation on themselves and their friends, as well as on the great mass of
the society. This has always been deemed one of the strongest bonds by which
human policy can connect the rulers and the people together.”
