Chase Bank Christmas tree removal

In Southlake, Texas the Chase Bank at 1700 E. Southlake Boulevard had a Christmas tree in the lobby. It was a gift from Mr. Morales, who owns the Bellagio Day Spa in Southlake. It was done as a favor to the bank manager who is one of his clients.

JPMorgan Chase, parent company of Chase Bank notified the bank manager to remove the tree. Siting complaints they received concerning the Christmas tree as being offensive. JPMorgan said only their season decorations are permitted in their banks.

Basically Chase Bank gave in to the negative behavior of a few. What about those who bank at Chase who are offended because there is no Christmas tree in the lobby? Now what?

This idiotic behavior of Chase has proved beneficial for The Providence Bank of Texas in Southlake. The Providence Bank displays Christmas trees and a nativity scene and has had an influx of new customers who closed their accounts at Chase. Ha ha ha, or is it “ho ho ho?”

UPDATE: This story went national on several talk radio shows. Causing CHASE executives to allow the Christmas tree at the Southlake, Texas bank branch.
