News media bias, healthcare, and Senator Lieberman

Once again the news media exposes their bias by masquerading an editorial as a news article. Reprinted from The New York Times in The Dallas Morning News, on page two was a news article titled, Lieberman enjoys being center stage.

The article reads at the end of the first paragraph, In short, he is at the center of everything and he loves it. It was not a quote but reported as a fact in a news article. The article had to do with the pending healthcare legislation in the United States Senate. Senator Lieberman, an Independent representing Connecticut, said he could not vote for this legislation for two reasons. He does not agree with lowering Medicare eligibility from 65 to 55 years of age. He also disagrees with the public option.

This caused the news media to turn into attack mode as their duty is to protect the Democratic Party. If there was such a violation as Constitutional malfeasance the American news media should be charged with it.

The article berated Senator Lieberman for representing the interest of his state and accepting campaign money from business within in his state.
