From Italy to Libya to World War Two Allies?

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and Libyan leader (thug dictator) Moammar Gadhafi signed an agreement for Italy to give Libya $5 billion as compensation for its 30 year occupation which ended in 1943, as reported by The Dallas Morning News, reprinted from The Associated Press.

In 1943 Italys fascist Prime Minister Benito Mussolini (Il Duce), whose official title was, His Excellency Benito Mussolini, Head of Government, Duce of Fascism and Founder of the Empire, were no longer occupying Libya after 30 years. It was not that Il Duce just decided to leave Libya, it was because of World War Two, and the Allies drove the Nazi and Fascist armies out of North Africa which includes Libya.

It was the nations of the United Kingdom (UK), the United States of America (USA), Free French France (apart from the Vichy French), India, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Polish free forces (Poland), Czechoslovakia, and Greece, all fighting as the Allies to clear North Africa of the Nazi and Fascist occupation. The armed forces of these Allied nations lost 67,221 of their military to battle field deaths, wounded, or missing in action (MIA).

When Libya receives the $5 billion from Italy that money should be turned over to the families of those 67,221 Allied forces who lost their lives, were wounded, or missing in action. Because it was their contribution which caused the end of the Italian Fascist occupation of Libya. The occupation did not end because one day Mussolini woke up and decided to end Italys North African occupation.
