Sea Shepherd forced the Faroese?

Sea Shepherd forced the Faroese?

During the summer of 2014 the clowns of the cult group floating circus Sea Shepherd launched a campaign in the Faroe Islands titled “Grindstop 2014.”  The clowns stated their goal was to stop the harvesting of whales in the Faroe Islands.  When whales are harvested in the Faroe Islands it is called a “Grind” (pronounced “Grend”).

During the latter part of the year the Faroese in the interest of safety decided those who engage in the “Grind” must attend a seminar and be certified to participate in the harvesting.  The clowns of the cult group interpreted this as a success for their campaign.  They claimed this would restrict the number of Faroese who will participate in the Grind meaning less whales to be harvested.  Ha!

The Faroese held their seminar and 1,400 people were certified to participate in the Grind.  That is 4% of their population.  Translate to the USA and 4% is roughly 15 million people.  To Sea Shepherd that is a success?

Sea Shepherd’s 2014 campaign:

Sea Shepherd Grindstop 2014 in the Faroe Islands caused the Faroese Parliament to enact new legislation.  Prior to Sea Shepherd’s floating circus of clowns entertaining in the Faroe Islands laws were not necessary to address Sea Shepherd’s illegal activities as it never happened there before.

How many whales did Sea Shepherd’s Grindstop 2014 save?  Answer: ZERO.  In this respect Sea Shepherd as usual was a total failure.  However they succeed in getting the Faroese Parliament to enact legislation to address Sea Shepherd’s illegal activities in the future.

Sea Shepherd’s Cove Coward Guardians (Cove Guardians) in Taiji, Japan also stretch the limits of the law.  Here is another situation where legislation was not necessary to address Sea Shepherd’s illegal activities in Taiji, are now being addressed in the Japanese Parliament.

Did Sea Shepherd save any dolphins in Taiji, Japan?  Answer: NO.  Another venue where Sea Shepherd is a total failure in their falsely stated mission, however successful in getting the Japanese Parliament to enact legislation to restrict their future activities.

Sea Shepherd total failure in the Faroe Islands, and in Taiji, Japan, yet successful in getting restrictive legislation enacted.  Where Sea Shepherd is a rousing success is getting their minions, suckers around the world to part with their money and send it to Sea Shepherd.

South Korean fascists beat up free speech

South Korean fascists beat up free speech

South Korean professors Lee Yong-hoon and An Byeong-jik were beat up in South Korea by fascists who fear free speech, freedom of expression, and any deviation from popular thought.

Professor Lee Yong-hoon is guilty for having said “Comfort Women were paid prostitutes.”
Professor An Byon-jik is guilty for having said “Japan did some good things in the Annexation Era.”

The two professors expressed their opinions and the South Korean fascists beat  them up just like the Nazi’s did in Hitler’s Germany.  Hitler’s opposition were silenced by brown shirt beatings.  Perhaps one day the good people in South Korea will rise up and stop these fascists to allow freedom of speech and freedom of expression.

Why I Love Japan: Two National Anthems

Why I Love Japan: Two National Anthems

At a conference in Osaka, Japan on 23 June 2014, opened with the playing of two national anthems:

1 – “Star Spangled Banner” national anthem of the United States of America (星条旗).
2 – “Kimigayo” 君が代 national anthem of the nation of Japan.

The “Star Spangled Banner” was written as a poem in 1814 during the War of 1812 by Frances Scott Key during the bombardment of Fort McHenry in Maryland by the British.   The United States Congress adopted as the national anthem in 1931.

The “Kimigayo” the lyrics were written during Japan’s Heian period (794-1185).  The song served as the national anthem from 1888 to 1945.  In 1999 it was officially recognized as the nation’s national anthem.

Kimigayo” the Japanese National Anthem - The Emperor's Reign

“May the reign of the Emperor
continue for a thousand, nay, eight thousand generations
and for the eternity that it takes
for small pebbles to grow into a great rock
 and become covered with moss.”
