Senator Ted Cruz’s birther issue

Senator Ted Cruz’s birther issue

The bias news media in the United States is in full presidential election mode for 2016.  The bias media is telling us who to vote for by reading who they attack.  The latest one being attacked by the bias news media is Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz.

A column appearing in The Dallas Morning News on February 27, 2015 reprinted from The Los Angeles Times written by Doyle McManus, questions Senator Cruz’s place of birth.  The column illustrated Ted Cruz’s birth certificate stating he was born in Canada, not the USA.  This by some brings into question his eligibility to run for president of the USA.

When President Obama was running for president in 2008 the question of where he was born was an issue.  Yet the news media did not illustrate his birth certificate.  When Senator John McCain ran for president his birth certificate was not illustrated showing his birth in the nation of Panama, not the USA.

Article 2, Section 1 of the United States Constitution reads in part:

“No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”

This article has enjoyed various interpretations and legislation since it’s ratification in 1788.  The one constant in this discussion is if a person is born of a mother who is an American citizen that child is an American citizen no matter where on this planet the birth happened.  Senator Ted Cruz is in compliance with Article 2, Section 1 of the United States Constitution.

It is rather typical of the news media to resurrect this issue when in 2008 they labeled those who questioned President Obama’s place of birth as “birthers,” “right wing lunatics,” and other assorted insults.  However now the question arises with Senator Cruz, no such insults will apply to the new group of “birthers.”

Senator Ted Cruz is the subject of the bias news media attack basically for three reasons:
1 – He is Republican
2 – He is a conservative
3 – He is from Texas

Japan apology again, again, again…….never enough

Japan apology again, again, again
…….never enough

The Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe has “convened a panel of experts this week to advise him on what to say to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II on Aug. 15.”  Mr. Abe is expected by some to repeat an apology for perceived transgressions by Imperial Japan.

The apology parade started with a Japanese Prime Minister around 1995 and continued with subsequent Japanese Prime Ministers.  Why?  Was not the first apology enough?  Have a parade of German chancellors apologized?   How about the legion of Italian Prime Minister’s for Italy’s role during World War Two in Libya and Ethiopia?

Have recent commie Chinese dictators apologized for Mao’s murder of over thirty million of his own people?   When did the president of South Korea apologize for the massacres committed by South Korean troops against South Koreans during the Korean War?

It is about time the British Prime Minister apologize for his troops burning the American White House during the War of 1812?  The spark that ignited the American Civil War (1861 – 1865) was when the South fired upon Fort Sumter in April of 1861.  Can we expect Southerners in the USA to apologize?

Repeated apologies for the same event is useless and reduces the impact of the first apology.  Also why is it Japan must continue to apologize when other nations only apologized once for the past transgressions if they apologized at all?

The Faroe Islands subject of another imperialistic attack

The Faroe Islands subject of another imperialistic attack

Concerning the article written by Helene Hesselager O’Barry titled
“The Faroese Culture Argument and Why I Disagree,”
dated 22 February, 2015.

My thoughts on her article:

Ms. O’Barry wrote “….just because something has been going on in a society for a long time does not automatically validate its continuation.”   Conversely, nor does Ms. O’Barry’s comment automatically validate what she wrote.

The author then employees the worn-out concern for the health of the whale meat eaters due to what she claims are toxins in the meat.  How nice of her to be concerned for their health.  How did these hardy people in the Faroe Islands survive there for over a thousand years without her culinary concern?  She exhibits what liberals in the USA are guilty of, pretending concern to gain control over people’s lives.

This compassionate extreme liberal continues to lament the whales are “…social and highly intelligent.”  Really?  Then how come these “intelligent” mammals are too stupid to recognize a danger in an area that has existed for over a thousand years?   They are social? Social or selfish?  These intelligent mammals are guilty of being selfish for not using their social skills to warn other whales to swim away from the Faroe Islands.

The rest of the article was polluted with bumper-sticker liberal trite void of logic.  The author and her type will not happy until we allow them to control every aspect of our lives.

God bless the people of the Faroe Islands for their expression of independence rejecting this type of cultural and culinary imperialism.

Japan the most hated country

 Japan the most hated country

According to a website “The Top Tens,” on their list “Most Hated Countries,” Japan is number one on that list.  Really?  Such a rating for Japan screams the invalidity of the list.  Here are the nations on the silly list in order of being “most hated:”

#1 – Japan
#2 – South Korea
#3 – North Korea (should be number one)
#4 – China
#5 – USA (wants to be number one)
#6 – Israel
#7 – Russia
#8 – Iran
#9 - Pakistan
#10- France (should be number one)

Come on folks, Japan number one before France and North Korea?  It is obvious the list on The Top Tens is flawed.  North Korea and France should be tied for number one, while Iran coming in a very close second.

Faroe Islands whales diverted to Japan?

Faroe Islands whales diverted to Japan?

An article reports the Grind (whale harvesting) in the Faroe Islands in 2014 was “drastically reduced.”  Of course it can be expected for Sea Shepherd to take credit for their campaign in the Faroe Islands titled “Operation Grind stop 2014.”

Really?  Sea Shepherd taking credit for that?  How about giving credit to the “blood thirsty Japanese whalers” that went to the Faroe Islands?  Remember criminal Watson of the floating circus Sea Shepherd claimed with authority the three Japanese who visited the Faroe Islands in 2014 were Japanese whalers (see link to his Facebook posting below).

It is indisputable the Japanese are well accomplished when it comes to electronics.  With that how about a conspiracy theory?  Perhaps the Japanese whalers placed electronic devices in the waters around the Faroe Islands that directed the whales away from the Faroe Islands and aimed them towards Japan.  Now we have Sea Shepherd attempting to take credit for the wizardry of Japanese electronics.
