Germany, Munich Security Conference, an American pride and an American embarrassment.  The embarrassment is Democrat member of the House of Representatives, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez / AOC from New York’s 14th Congressional District.  She prepared for months studying the issues, with staff and tutors.  All for naught.  She came across as a dummy, a complete idiot.

When she was asked about Taiwan, her reply was a Kamala Harris word salad.  Void of meaning.  AOC then was critical of Americas role with Venezuela.  Stating that Venezuela was south of the equator.  Huh?  It is north of the equator.  The dope would have been better off saying, “near the equator.” 

Secretary of State Marco Rubio presented an outstanding speech (see link below).  In part of the speech, he noted “cowboys” notable of the American west, came from Spain.  Of course, AOC claimed that was an error.  Claiming cowboys come from Native Americans in Mexico, not Spain.

 What were those cowboys herding and on what?  The Spanish brought horses to the New World from Spain.  Italian Christopher Columbus brought cattle to the New World.  Thus, cowboys did not arrive in the Western Hemisphere until after Spain and Columbuses arrival.

Trump and the Nobel Peace Prize

President Donald Trump was NOT awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize!  Huh?  Wa happen?  The Prize was awarded to Maria Corina Machado, a Venezuelan democracy advocate.  Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro has been a threat to her safety.  Causing her to be in hiding for the past fourteen months and sending her children out of the country. 

She is a magnificent lady.  After the Nobel announcement, she telephoned President Trump.  Saying she is dedicating the award in honor of President Trump.

In essence the award is worthless.  Some past Nobel Peace Prize laureates:

1964:  Yasser Arafat – a terrorists

2007:  Al Gore – for is climate change hoax: An Inconvenient Truth  

2009:  President Barack H. Obama – for doing nothing.
