Sea Shepherd got rammed?  Ha ha ha ha ha - repost

This is a repost.  The video was first uploaded February 20, 2013.  Around the middle of August, 2013 gremlins attacked this video and corrupted the image (aspect ratio).  This video is a correction to that attack by gremlins.

Sea Shepherd is claiming they were rammed three or four times by the Japanese whalers in the Southern Ocean.  They claim the Steve Irwin and Bob Barker fell victim to the Japanese ramming.  So?

If the Japanese did ram them, good!  Sea Shepherd in the past bragged they rammed the Japanese, so now that Sea Shepherd gets rammed, ramming then becomes wrong.  That is the behavior of bullies. 

The video and photographs to date released by Sea Shepherd do not support their hallucinated claims.  However photographs released by the Institute of Cetacean Research – ICR, seem to illustrate the ramming took place by Sea Shepherd, if not directly, then by placing their rust-bucket garbage scow in a position to be rammed.  Much like  the Ady Gil a few years ago when it rammed the Japanese vessel.

Sea Shepherd ramming explained

Sea Shepherd is claiming they were rammed multiple times by the Japanese whalers in the Southern Ocean.  They claim the Steve Irwin and Bob Barker fell victim to the Japanese ramming.  So?

If the Japanese did ram them, good!  Sea Shepherd in the past bragged they rammed the Japanese, so now that Sea Shepherd gets rammed, ramming then becomes wrong.  That is the behavior of bullies.

The Panamanian refueling vessel the Sun Laurel (4,067 tons) is waiting to refuel the Nisshin Maru (8,030 tons), when Sea Shepherd’s Bob Barker (788 tons) sails in front of the moving Nisshin Maru to ram the Sun Laurel.  The Nisshin Maru unable to stop while approaching the Sun Laurel collided with the Bob Barker who maneuvered to place itself in front of the Nisshin Maru.

Much like if you view a bus coming the street and when the bus is a few feet in front of you, you jump in the street in front of the bus, get rammed by the bus, and then complain you go rammed.

Sea Shepherd’s modus operandi

Currently the rust bucket garbage scows of Sea Shepherd with their crew of smug, self-righteous bullies are in the Southern Ocean.  They are there with their stated goal to harass and interfere with whaling by the Japanese mariners. 

In Sea Shepherd’s attempt to maintain the public relation edge they have issued two pronouncements void of proof.  No problem because the compliant Australian news media has been reporting what Sea Shepherd announces as solid proof with no proof provided.

Lie number one:

Sea Shepherd claims the Panamanian vessel the Sun Laurel has been intercepted and prevented from supplying fuel to the Japanese mariners.  Claiming a Japanese vessel was dead in the waters without the much needed fuel.

Soon afterwards Sea Shepherd reported the Sun Laurel while transferring fuel to a Japanese vessel leaked diesel fuel into the ocean, polluting the ocean. 

Sea Shepherd’s proof: 

1 - A photograph of a container they claimed is diesel fuel they retrieved from the ocean that was leaked by the Sun Laurel.
2 – Sea Shepherd released a recorded radio transmission between the Sun Laurel and the Japanese vessel.  This recorded transmission was released on a video showing photographs in the background, with the recorded audio in English and English subtitles.

Halfway through when the transmission ended, the audio then switched to Sea Shepherd explaining what was just said in the recorded transmission.  However what Seas Shepherd said they said was not said in the transmission.  Huh?

Since Sea Shepherd was close to the two vessels, how come Sea Shepherd has not released a video showing the fuel spill?    

Lie number two:

Sea Shepherd while violating the U.S. Court injunction which was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court by sailing within five-hundred yards of a Japanese whaling vessel, claims the Japanese attempted to ram them.  Really?  Where is the video?

It is well known Sea Shepherd has an abundant supply of video cameras so how come no videos to support their two most recent lies have been released?

Sea Shepherd:  Either produce the videos or shut up.
