Save the SAVE Act
The SAVE Act (Safeguard American Voter Eligibility) is facing controversy. The Act provides to vote in an America election; one must prove citizenship. Republicans favor it, Democrats are against it. Because it would disenfranchise illegal aliens / non-citizens, the Democrat Party anchor.
Thus, the debate has consumed the news media and social media. Both sides should get together and pass it. Once passed it will be challenged and work its way to the Supreme Court. Once there, it will be ruled unconstitutional.
Citizens in the U.S.A. think they have a Representative Democracy / Republic. Ha ha ha ha. Truth is those elected do not run the nation. The country is ruled by federal judges and bureaucrats. They will decide if the SAVE Act is Constitutional, not the people, nor their elected representatives.
The United States being a constitutional federal representative democracy is a joke. Can you say “oligarchy?”
