Political Correctness in the United States

Political correctness as imposed in the United States has devolved into a totalitarian ideology.  Bill Lind (William S. Lind, a conservative columnist) in an address described political correctness as “cultural Marxism.”    Since both Marxism and political correctness are both totalitarian.  Mr. Lind said in his address about Marxism and political correctness:

“First of all, both are totalitarian ideologies. The totalitarian nature of Political Correctness is revealed nowhere more clearly than on college campuses, many of which at this point are small ivy covered North Koreas, where the student or faculty member who dares to cross any of the lines set up by the gender feminist or the homosexual-rights activists, or the local black or Hispanic group, or any of the other sainted “victims” groups that PC revolves around, quickly find themselves in judicial trouble. Within the small legal system of the college, they face formal charges – some star-chamber proceeding – and punishment.”   

Political correctness is suppression of free speech to prevent conservatives from deviating from liberal doctrine.  It suppresses the recognition of differences among gender, religion, belief systems, sexual orientation, and nationality.  Their hideous goal is the promotion of diversity to erase national identity, and gender differences. 

Some examples:  Once a handicapped person was referred to as “crippled.”  Later it changed to “handicapped,” which migrated to “disabled.”  Still not satisfied with controlling the language this progressed to “physically challenged.”  Blacks in the USA were referred to as “Negros” changed to “colored,” advanced to “blacks.”  Later with the he marriage of diversity and political correctness, now the politically correct term is “African-American.”  Notice “African” is first.  That is to keep a person’s first identity not to the USA but to a place of their ancestral origin.  The same can be written about Italian-Americans, German-Americans, Japanese-Americans, etc.  The “American melting pot,” was tossed aside as it united people.  Doing this it achieves the liberal goal of Balkanizing the U.S.A.  Liberals believe a Balkanized America is a weak America and a weak America is no longer a threat to the peace around the globe.  To these politically correct liberals the nation of their birth (U.S.A.) is not the solution, but the problem.  When in reality the United States is not the problem, THEY are the problem. 

Controlling the language is ecstasy to the PC thugs. 

Tim Torkildson worked at an English-language learning center named Nomen Global Language Center in Provo, Utah, was fired.  He was fired because he dared to write on his blog an explanation of the word “homophones” and wrote some examples illustrating the use of the word.  The politically correct crowd fully mobilized to compare “homophone” with “homophobia.”  The problem is one has nothing to do with the other except of you are politically correct and stupid.

Homophones are words that sound the same with different meanings.  Such as “write” and “right” or “see” and “sea.”  Whereas Homophobia is a fear of homosexuals.  See where the two words have nothing to do with one another? Because of the politically correct mob Mr. Torkildson was fired.  A lesson in Political Correctness in America 101.  Never mind “homophone” and “homophobia” have nothing to do with one another, all that matter is his example caught the ire of the thought police in the politically correct gang causing a full mobilization.  These thugs demand to control the language and achieve their goals through bullying and lies.

The next example of political correctness in the USA involves the word “niggardly.” 

David Howard, head of the Office of Public Advocate in Washington, DC was forced to resign from office over politically correct motivated criticism.  What did Mr. Howard do?  He used the word “niggardly” and to the political correct crowd it was racist because it was close to the “N” word.  Never mind both are entirely different in meaning.  When it comes to political correctness in the USA reason has no place as emotion and suppression rule the day.  Niggardly:  (adjective) not generous; stingy, cheap, parsimonious, penny-pinching.  It has absolutely nothing to do with the dreaded “N” word, but once again facts and truth have no place in politically correct America. 

In the West an historical year was referred as 1932 AD or 420 BC.  Meaning the year 1932 AD simplistically meant after the year zero which represents “Anno Domini – AD” meaning after Jesus Christ.”  Thus “BC” meaning the years before Christ.  The political correct crowd with their fear of religion as the same with their Marxist benefactors same fear would have none of this.  They succeeded in corrupting history and changing it to “C.E.” to replace “AD” and “B.C.E.” to replace “BC.”  The “C.E.” meaning “common era,” while “B.C.E.” meaning “before the common era. “

Thus the PC crowd was able to be shielded from their fear of religion by changing the date structure in the West.  The “BC” and “AD” referenced the Christian religion incorporated into the Gregorian calendar named for a Roman Catholic pope, Pope Gregory XIII.  The expulsion of “BC” and “AD” accomplished two goals:  Removing religion from the public discussion, and their demented goal of minimizing if not eliminating Christianity. 

Any speech or activity that does not conform to liberal ideology is labeled politically incorrect and must and will be suppressed.  The many departments in the Federal government if one runs afoul of political correctness they must be sent to “diversity training” or “sensitivity training.”  Funny thing is when the Nazis did this or when the Communist do it, it is called “re-education.”  Call it what you want it is all the same with the goal of suppressing free speech also opposing free independent thoughts. 

This would be laughable if it was not tragic.  In 2009 U.S. Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan murdered thirteen people and injured thirty-two others in Fort Hood, Texas.  Here is the political correct part:  His superiors in the Army knew of his radical rantings and refused to reprimand him or send him for an evaluation.  Instead they kept promoting him.  Why?  Because he was part of a politically correct ethnic and religious group.  His superiors ignored the signs he was emitting to prevent going to sensitivity training causing thirteen to be sent to the morgue.  The fear of being sent to the politically correct sensitivity training caused his superiors to ignore him resulting in the death of thirteen people.  Political correctness not only murders free speech and thought but also results in the deaths of innocent people.  

Before September 11, 2001 whenever Hollywood portrayed an Arab Muslim it was mostly as being dirty, liars, thieves, and human debris.  I am not writing the imagery was correct, just writing that is how it was with Hollywood.  Want to portray a thirty, cunning person, make him from the Middle East with an Arab accent.  The day after September 11, 2001 Hollywood promoted this group to politically correct protection and changed their portrayals.  Since then those of that ethnic or religious group are now cast in Hollywood as wise, honest, misunderstood, and noble.  Most Hollywood programs since then when illustrating terrorists they are usually Caucasian males from the West.

On that date September 11, 2001 when the hijackers were at the airport in Boston before hijacking the planes, airport security thought them to be suspicious.  They were going to stop them to be questioned, but decided not to because of the fear of being accused of behaving politically incorrect by focusing on Arabs for extra questioning.  Resulting in airport security let the hijackers board the planes and you know “the rest of the story.”

Political correctness is an evil ideology forced upon a once-free people by evil liberals fearing opposition.  If you want to be politically correct, just remember:

A man is not “bald’ he is “follically challenged.”        

“Falling-down drunk” is “Accidentally Horizontal”

A “quiet” person is “conversational minimalist.” 

A person is not “dead,” he is “living impaired.”

“Cheating” is “academic dishonesty.”

“Gang” is “youth  group.”

“Homeless” are “outdoor urban dwellers.”

“Prostitutes” are “sex care providers.”

“Dishonest” is “ethically disoriented.”

Over the last forty years this disease known as political correctness has infected the perverts in Hollywood, academia, the public schools, popular culture, the news media, the U.S. government and U.S. military.  It took these bums forty years to inculcate the culture on all levels and will take another forty years to reverse this evil.  That forty year journey to return the United States back to freedom and sanity will start the day an effort is made to move forward.  Sadly that start date has not yet arrived.
