It’s the economy, NOT contraceptives

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh used two inflammatory words in reference to a Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke. Mr. Limbaugh subsequently apologized both in print and on his radio talk show.

Mr. Limbaugh’s apology was not enough for Democrats, the news media (riddled with Democrat operatives), and liberals. However liberal pundits with similar transgressions were not admonished and if apologized, was accepted.

The Dallas Morning News published a column written by columnist Clarence Page of the Chicago Tribune.

Mr. Page wonders why Mr. Limbaugh is not being chastise by the current Republican presidential candidates. He referenced that in 2008 then candidate Barak Obama separated himself from the hate exposed by his minister of twenty years, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Rev. Wright in his sermons exposed hate towards the United States and Caucasians. Mr. Limbaugh has never expressed hate towards the United States or any ethnic group. There is no comparison, however it is a reach by Mr. Page, and reach that does not grab.

This is all an attempt by the Democratic Party to change the debate from President Obama’s failed economy to the issue of women’s contraception. During a Republican Presidential candidate debate moderated in part by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. Mr. Stephanopoulos is a Democrat plant and Clintonista (He worked for the Clintons and comes out of the Clinton political machine).

Mr. Stephanopoulos asked the question, “do you believe that states have the right to ban contraception?” This issue was not discussed before in the campaign and only emerged by Mr. Stephanopoulos to change the discussion from the economy to women’s contraception.

Borrowing from ex-rated President Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign, “It’s the economy stupid.” In 2012 it is still about the economy, and not the made up issue by Democrats, women’s contraception.

Stay focused – President Barak Obama needs to be a one-term president or God help us all and our freedoms.
