Why I love Japan, 3rd video
Japanese culture / society are immersed in tradition,
respect, and community. This short video
illustrated in this video show school children crossing a street. Once the children reach the other side of the
street they turn to the waiting automobiles and bow in appreciation. One child depresses a button on a nearby pole
to change the traffic light to allow the vehicles to proceed. The children of elementary school age travel
to school crossing streets without having to be watched by an adult. Respect, consideration, and trust.
