Kuril Islands stolen from Japan by the Russians

The Kuril Islands are a chain of islands stretching across the Pacific Ocean from Northern Japan, north of the Japanese island of Hokkaido to the Russian peninsula of Kamchatka. The majority of the islands were considered part of Japan throughout much of prerecorded history.

Stolen Kuril Islands
In the 17th century Russia advanced eastward and expressed interest in the island chain. In 1855 the “Treaty of Commerce, Navigation and Delimitation / Shimoda Treaty” was signed between Japan and Russia acknowledging the four southernmost islands of the chain belonging to Japan. Subsequently in 1875 another treaty was signed between the two nations: Japan (Nihon-koku) and Russia (the once “Evil Empire” / Soviet Union). It was the “Treaty of Saint Petersburg / Karafuto-Chishima Kokan Joyaku.”

This treaty acknowledged Japanese dominance over the whole chain of islands from Hokkaido, Japan to Kamchatka, Russia. In return Japan acknowledged Russian dominance over the island of Sakhalin. This treaty remained until August, 1945.

In the closing days of World War Two the Soviet Union (Russia, The Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics – USSR “the Evil Empire”) decided to honor comments made to their allies and entered the War in the Pacific against Japan. The commies invaded the Japanese in Manchuria. Then after the cessation of hostilities the commies occupied and stole the Kuril Islands, specifically the four large islands of the chain just north of Hokkaido, Japan.

There were 17,000 Japanese inhabiting the islands. The commies forced them on boats and shipped them to Japan. Now some sixty-seven years after stealing these islands the Russian thieves (barbarians) are requesting foreign entities come to the islands to help develop them. China (commie-led land) and North Korea (led by lunatic commies) sent workers to assist the Russians.

Now the Russians are requesting Japanese companies come help develop the islands stolen from Japan for the Russians. Huh?

1. The majority of the islands were considered part of Japan throughout much of prerecorded history.

The majority of the islands were considered as disputed territories.

2.Subsequently in 1875 another treaty was signed between the two nations: Japan (Nihon-koku) and Russia (the once “Evil Empire” / Soviet Union).

Tsarist Russia didn't have a name such as "Evil Empire".

3.This treaty remained until August, 1945.

Sorry, but no. This treaty was in force until the Russo-Japanese War in 1904.

4.North Korea (led by lunatic commies) sent workers to assist the Russians.

Russia didn't invite NORTH Korea to develop the islands. Russia invited SOUTH Korea (led by pro-american goverment)and Japan as well.

5."that's them, kids..."

Who's your daddy? )

6."after the fifteenth of August in 1945 essentially the war was over"
No, the war wasn't over. The surrender of Japan formally was signed on September 2, 1945. After the Japan Emperor's order to surrender on August 15, part of Japaneese army continued to fight.

7. "They stole the islands! Wait a minute, the war is over..."
As I said, the war wasn't over.
Interesting, how Soviets could steal the islands, if these islands was given to them at the Yalta Conference?

8. "Russians still say:"Those are our islands! Who care, if we stole them! They are ours!" "
More like: "Those are our islands! Who care, if they are legally ours from the 1945!"

9. "the barbarians in Russia..."
Your are funny, daddy.)) Please make a special video about "barbarians in Russia" and about Russia. I just want to laugh my head off.

10. "you stole those islands from us!"
Are you a Japaneese? Ah, I see, you are not. But why do your speak on behalf of all Japaneese people?

11. "You Russians better watch out. These are not stupid people you dealing with. Ha-ha-ha-ha!"
Looking on you, i think there is at least one "stupid man". Ha-ha-ha-ha!

12. "I say this, because during the beginning of last century there was a Russia... a war between Russia and Japan. And the Japaneese... aha-ha-ha-ha... they absolutely destroy Russia."
Oh, now you remember the Russo-Japanese war. I thought, you just said that nothing happens between Japan and Russia from 1875 until 1945.

To the victor go the spoils. And lets not forget that Japanese during the WWII committed the worst war crimes in the history of the world, far much worse then what German Nazis did in Europe.

Ohhh forgot to mention that Japanese pride themselves about dyeing with honour, I did not see too many of them perform their beloved harakiri after losing the war. Japanese are just whining U.S bitches. They deserved to lose the land and that is that.

Utterly false. No worse crimes than for example the Mongol horde when teh conquered China and much of central asia.

The USSR killed more than 60 million people during its existence and sent millions to gulags (forced labour camps).

Russia has a history of death, oppression and tragedy.

Forgot to mention that Russians are originally from Europe, they are mainly white (european) people and do NOT belong in Siberia and East Asia. They stole the lands from the native Asian people.

Oh shut up. Soviets never killed 60 millions its a myth not supported by any statistics. Maximum 10 millions died in all soviet history. It was germans who killed 30 millions soviet men women and children you baztard. And it was soviets who destroyed hitlers army them only wiped out most of wehrmacht so go f yourself. Japanese were doing bloody horrific human experiments they are nothing but animal pigs. And yeah its ok for british empire to conquer half of the world in clonization times but ? Ok for western europe to create USA and steal north america from natives? But only russia is evil for expanding. Drop dead already asshole

False. The Japanese invaded the Russians in World War Two and took the Kuril Islands. As part of the punishment, Japan had to give back the Kuril to the Russians.
