President Barack Obama accepted the resignation of General Stanley McChrystal, and replaced him with General David H. Petraeus (appointed by President Bush).
The Democrats and the news media are praising President Obama for appointing such a qualified person as General Petraeus to head U.S. forces in Afghanistan. Yet it was these very same people who in 2008 called General Petraeus a liar. General Petraeus was about to testify in front of a Senate committee when the leadership of the Democratic Party labeled the general a liar before he had an opportunity to open his mouth.
The New York Times gave leftist, Democratic organization MoveOn.org a full page ad at half price headlined: “General Petraeus or General Betray US?”

Now that President Obama called upon General Petraeus to replace General McChrystal, all of sudden General Patraeus is not a liar. Where was he these past two years? Was he in rehabilitation to be expunged of his inability to tell the truth?
Democrats criticized General Petraeus two years ago because President Bush (Republican) was in The White House. Now that President Obama (Democrat) is in The White House, the selection of General Petraeus is a wise decision.
Democrats have no loyalty to the nation, just to their leftist agenda and the Democratic Party. Proof positive.
