Thailand, please help the USA

The people of Bangkok, Thailand held huge demonstrations on Friday requesting the resignation of their prime minister. The photographs show many people in the crowds wearing yellow. Why would people in Thailand be wearing yellow on a Friday? The people in Thailand to show respect for their king wear different colors on different days:

Monday -- Yellow
Tuesday -- Pink
Wednesday -- Green
Thursday -- Orange
Friday -- Blue
Saturday -- Purple
Sunday -- Red

If the protest were on a Friday as the news media reported, how come they were not wearing red which is the color for that day? They also wear yellow on the king's birthday because he was born on a Monday. Was it the king's birthday on Friday? Does the color yellow have another significance in Thailand?

The people of Thailand were protesting one person, their Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej, claiming he is a proxy for the former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who was thrown out in a coup in 2006. The protestors were led by a group called, "People's Alliance for Democracy. Can perhaps the protestors come to the United States of America and help the 300 million lazy people protest the Congress? A Congress (House of Representatives and the Senate) who no longer represent the people. This group has buried representative democracy in these here United States.

People of Thailand, please help Uncle Sam!
