Who are the Americans?

Citizens of the United States of America are Americans.  The Western Hemisphere consist of North America, Latin America, and South America.  Out of the multiple countries in the Americas, only one country has the word “America” in its official name:  the U.S.A., the United States of America.

Now you know who the Americans are, they are citizens of the United States of America, even Texans.

The name “America” comes from the Italian explorer “Amerigo Vespucci.”
