Temples in Kyoto? Where?

Kyoto temples a must see

During a recent visit by Shun and Mitt of Japan, Mitt gave me a banner / scroll of the Temple of the Golden Pavilion, named Kinkakuji.

Upon receiving the banner it brought to mind a story in reference to the Temple.  While in Kyoto our schedule was so tight we only had time to take a photograph of the Temple from the other side of the lake.  Other temples in Kyoto were seen as we drove past them.

However we were blessed to have enjoyed a private tour of a Buddhist temple in Kyoto.  The temple’s name: Daikaku ji.  Here are links about the temple:
